Start Your Pup’s Training Journey

📝 Step 1: Fill Me In

Start by sending me an email with the scoop on you and your pup—personality, quirks, goals, the good stuff. Once we’re acquainted, I’ll send you a link to book your initial consultation!

🧠 Step 2: Dive Into the Details

For our consultation, you’ll fill out a detailed form about your dog—including medical background, behavior history, and anything else you'd like me to know. During the session, we’ll cover everything from daily exercise and prevention strategies to training techniques you can start using right away, plus a plan for moving forward.

🎯 Step 3: Choose Your Path

After our consult, you’ll get a set of personalized notes to guide you as you begin your training journey. From there, you can pick a training package that fits your goals—or keep things flexible with single-session follow-ups. It’s all about what works best for you and your pup!

Guiding Principles

🐾 Sweet and Straight-Up

Dogs learn from what happens right after they do something, so timing is everything. While there are lots of ways to influence behavior, I stick to 100% reward-based methods. It’s simple, effective, and—most importantly—it teaches behaviors while keeping things fun!

Think: gentle parenting, with fur and wagging tails.

😬 Big Feelings, Bigger Support

To help dogs feel better about things that scare them, we use desensitization—slowly introducing the scary stuff in a way that feels safe. We pair that with counterconditioning, which means turning “uh-oh” into “yay!” by linking the scary thing with something your dog loves, like treats or play.

Think: your dog sees the leash and gets excited because it means a walk is coming. That’s a Conditioned Emotional Response—and with the right approach, we can help dogs learn to like the things they once feared.

★★★★★

"Her R+ reward-based training means that our puppy Ellie has not only lost some of the fear and apprehension she had when she first came home, but she has also learned to love some of the things she once was scared of (for example - the car!)."

-Caitlin H.

★★★★★

"I would say the first consultation was a lifesaver....It took away all the anxiety of becoming a puppy owner. It allowed me to be prepared. I asked her 1000+ questions during the consult and she had an answer to every single one."
